FHE - Listening

So tonight we had a quick FHE and it turned out really fun. Sienna loved talking about how she listens (to her teacher and mommy and daddy). She also loved getting out her little children's hymn book and finding the song to sing. "Simon says" was a big hit with her too! I love her so much! Logan just crawled around on the floor and occasionally looked at us and wondered what we were doing. Lots of fun! Oh, and we missed you daddy! He was off working hard at school (homework is never ending).

I Can Learn to Listen and Obey

Scripture: Ephesians 6:1
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Story: Use the story of the “2000 Young Warriors” or your gospel art kit picture 313 and read the story on the back.

Activity: Play a game that require the children to listen and obey directions from the leader like “Simon Says”, or sing “Do as I’m Doing” (Children’s Song Book # 278) or some other following game. Discuss the difference between following these kinds of directions and following the directions of your parents, prophets or leaders.
